About me
My goal is to become a midwife. I applied to start degree course Sept 2005 but didn't get a place. I was proud of myself for getting necessary Access qualification and getting interview at uni. The odds weren't in my favour - 650 applicants, 150 interviewees, 25 places. Now I'm concentrating on my family. Once my kids are at school I shall apply to do midwifery again. |

The thing I'm most proud of
Getting a computer qualification which enabled me to escape the retail job which had taken 4 years of my life. Getting a proper job gave my confidence such a boost. |
