About me
Ummmm, married since July 2005 to my lovely dh who is 30 and is my best friend. He has been the most amazing support to me and I love him so much. Live by the sea which I love. I have an underactive thyroid which I know it is important to mention on here....also pcos. I am welsh and have lived in Bournemouth since I came here to go to Uni when I was 18.
I've now been posting on here for a fair while as we've been ttc since the end of March 2006.
We conceived on clomid and I had a missed miscarriage at 11 weeks in January.
I post on TTCAL, TFAB+1 and CWM. Sometimes FI too and I was a member of MDAUG 2008 for a while. |
About my family
My parents have been married since they were 20 so 33 years. I have one brother. |
Likes
ooooh,walks by the sea, kayaking, swimming, reading,writing, shopping, chilling out on the beach, relaxing with friends,chocolate and anything luxurious like nice meals and spa treatments when I can afford it. Also having reflexology at the moment which is luverly and I feel really helping me. |
Dislikes
Ummm, not realising this ttc lark was sooo complicated,sunburn, bees and insects, heavy metal, brussel sprouts, coleslaw, unreliable friends. The feeling of being powerless this ttc lark gives you, the sadness and the jealousy of other people's pregnancies. But saying all that I am grateful for my angel even if I didn't get to hold him/her. |
Interests
Photography, reading, writing, water sports, walking, exploring the countryside,reflexology, swimming, getting fit and losing weight. |
The thing I'm most proud of
Hmmmm, all my achievements despite a few ups and downs with my health, friends, work etc. The fact that I have realised earlier than most what the most important things are in life, primarily being happy which for me is being with my friends and family. |
If I could change the world I would
I would make people less judgemental, it really annoys me that you are so often defined and judged by one thing, eg your job,your religion, your race, how much money you have, where you live etc. I would like differences to be accepted. |

Charlotte Church -Even God. Made it back-Beverley Knight. Change-Sugababes. Uncomfortably slow-Newton Faulkner. Better together-Jack Johnson. So many different songs that describe how I feel and I often feel 100 different things in one day. Not one song sums me up really! |
