Hi everyone
I have thing under your eyes where looks like dark circles. Something to do with the pigments under the skin, dont really know, got it from my dads side of the family. Looks like I am tired all the time, even when I am not. Anyway, my mascara doesn't seem to stay on my eyelashes, after awhile it flakes of under my eyes and then it looks like I have been punched in the face! I have been asked that at work before.
Does anyone have any advice?
Thanks
x

I can't use all mascaras either due to the panda effect! I always use waterproof and I stick to the ones that I know will stay where I put them. I use either Maxfactor, L'Oreal or Bourjoir, these seem to be the best for me. I've heard that the stars use haemorrhoid cream for dark circles as it constricts the blood vessels under the fine skin of the eye, reducing the darker appearance - I did try it once and it does work a little. Make sure you drink plenty of water to keep you hydrated too as dehydration will cause dark circles. Louise xxx

Hi nicnak, I also have the same problem, especially because of my oily skin, but I find maybelline great lash in waterproof is good, followed by clarins double fix mascara - this is fantastic, it's a clear mascara that you can use on top of any normal mascara to make it completely waterproof, smudge proof etc. In fact even when I've been naughty and gone to bed without taking off my makeup, it's still not smudged the next morning! x x x

i have the same problem! i find that because my eyelashes are black anyway i can use clear mascara or simply vaseline- it gives a lengthening effect and any that does end up in my dark circle 'pits' i just rub in and it keeps them hydrated and looking a little less like zombie's eyes xx
