Hi Everyone,

I have naturally blonde (sort of honey blonde with a bit of red) hair but have noticed in the last year or two it is looking a bit mousy, which I'm putting down to getting old (37) and think there may be a few white/grey hairs making it look a bit duller.  I want to try colouring it to give it a bit of a lift but have never done it before and would like a bit of advice.

My hair is really thick and quite long (just above the waist) so would I be OK to use one pack or would I need more?  I would really like to avoid getting it done at the hairdressers as I only go there when I really have to!

Apart from using sun in in the 1980's (!) I havent used colours before so I'd be grateful for any tips, advice etc.

TIA

Ally x

Hi there, half a head of fine high lights is what you need to bring out your own colour, grey hair is acctually hair without pigments-white, so depend how much you have? you colour them and blend them in.

I am professional hairstylist since 15 years and i dont recomend you to do it yourself, but in a salon with a good stylist.

If you have any questions, dont hesitate
