Hi there,

I have naturally blonde hair which from time to time I put highlights through.  As I hadn't dyed my hair for a good 8 months or so I thought I would go for a change.  Speaking to the hair dresser, she suggested to go a little darker on top with blonde highlights then perhaps a dark colour underneath.  To cut a long stort short I have now ended up with mostley red hair with blonde and brown highlights on top - it looks horrendous!!!!!

I really dont suit the red, it may have looked better if the whole of my head was this colour without the highlights though.

Anyway, can anyone suggest how I can get this colour out of my hair!!  I have tried using clarifying shampoo etc which has helped.  I really want to go back to all over blonde but I am scared now I have damaged my hair enough and worried that if I was to dye it back to its original colour it will stress it even more.

I cannot go back to the hairdresser as the salon is 200 miles away from where I live.

Any suggestions would be much appreciated, its really getting me down!

Laura

Sorry that you dont like it, a colour eraser is what you need, but a good one in a good salon.

If you live in or close to London i could help you,

if you have any questions, dont hesitate

Thanks for your reply, however I live at the opposite end of the country!...

I have now had my hair dyed brown by a professional stylst, and now waiting for a few months before I can gradually dye it back to the blonde that it was.

Worst mistake I have ever made!
