hi all

i went on cerazette and norethisterone for gynae probs and the side effects have been awful.

my moods have been everywhere, and my skin and hair have become very oily. i now have blackheads all over my face whereas i only used to have them in the t-zone. i am also getting small red spots under the skin and some whiteheads too. my chin is especially bad - a mess of red spots and blackheads.

i have no idea what to do. i have to stay on the pills for 3 more months and my skin is getting worse. i need to try the pills as i have had 3 years of missery with my periods.

no over the counter stuff has ever gotten rid of my blackheads or the small white spots on my chin that never go away, so i doubt anything will work now?

i has treatment from the dr once but it made my skin go red and peel so dont want to do that again.

i am currently using a facewash, blackhead toner and medicated moisturizer from nutrogena. also st ives facial scrub twice a week. is there anythin else i can do?

i put makeup over the sots when i go to work but take it off when i get in -is this making it worse?

You could go to a salon and treat yourself to a facial, they will be able to give you plenty of advice too. It will give your skin a deep clean and it is recommended once a month, perhaps while you are on the medication you could do this and see how you go, they will be able to remove blackheads and whiteheads (assuming these are milia since they won't go away).
