First I must say I am in my fourth week and started OWL this week (just so I could add a few nuts into my snacks as often on the go and are very convienant to grab), anyhow I am gettign stuck wiht meal ideas.  I don't have a lot of time to cook complex meals due to shift working etc and to add even more complexion I am a vegi who eats fish so all the meat grab and go snacks and meals are off the menu for me. 

I am generally really enjoying the Atkins way of life and so far (upto wk 3 weigh in) have lost 7.5 lbs.  Can anyone give me some alternative ideas to salad as I think I have now exhausted the enitre salad range, I have also been eating fish with steamed veg.  I did go adventurous one night and made a pasta less lasagne which was a success.  If I don't get some more variety I know I will fall off the wagon soon out of boredom and lack of options.  Also looking for ideas for snacks?  I saw a post on here were someone said they ate crabsticks alot as a snack I thought these were really high in carbs??? Or is this just seafood sticks?? If there is a thing caleld crabsticks and they are low in carbs please let me know as another fab grab and go option!!!

So please suggestions woudl be most welcome as I relaly want to make this work.

i would imagine crab sticks are full of carbs as they have fillers etc and very little actual crab but check the packet they come in to confirm this

ok few ideas for your pasta try using leek or aubergine in place of the pasta

spag bol/chilli, use cauliflower as rice

cauli pizza

sardines

tuna mayo

egg mayo

fish and steamed veg is a good one

i made a casserole the other day how about one of them with quorn instead of meat?

ok theres a few but do check out the recipe section for more ideas

Snack ideas - mini babybels, hard boiled eggs, smoked salmon & cream cheese rollups, prawns

Meals - try grated corgette instead of pasta too and stir in cream cheese to make a sauce or make a bolognaise with quorn, make toppings for your fish with parmesan & herbs or serve with a creamy sauce, omelette pizza topped with veggies and/or tuna, prawns etc, make a fish curry, tofu stir fry with cauli rice - there's loads of ideas, you just have to be creative!
