Hi dawnie,

                Thank you for your message.  I am struggling a bit with my comfort eating.  I do feel much better about my body, although I do need to lose about 3stones (I weigh 14stones now).  But I dont mind my stretchmarks so much etc.  I'm seeing a counsellor and we're addressing the comfort eating now - we've realised I do it when it's hard to find time for myself or if I'm feeling low in other ways or stressed etc.  I am working hard to try and do something else nice for my body to help me feel better, the only problem I have is a lack of money and sometimes too an inability to get out of the house as i have a 4 year old.  I am still working hard but I find I fall off the wagon and reach for food very quickly and sometimes it's hard to realise what Im doing until halfway through doing it. Grr lol but I'm getting there!  And how are you?  Thank you again for your message - it's nice to know Ive been remembered!!

Of course you are remembered, I like to keep track of how people are getting on and you are always welcome. May I make a suggestion that I know works for me when I am trying to phase out my junk habits.I get easily reachable things that I can munch on if im in a bad mood that arent bad for me. You get me?

So Ill have nuts, seeds are a big ones for me, healthy cereals, healthy crisps. Its about damage limitation for me. I accept that at the moment I will reach for food when im feeling low, and thats something that I take as part of me, it isnt ideal but it wont change over night. There is no point in my berating myself for it or you berating yourself for how you are.

Its better to do damage limitation, its all about convenience so make easily grabbable foods healthier options, raisins are great and sweet. Even little chocolate bars so u can grab one and hell if u want another have it but better than nothing right?
