Its lovely weather here in Lancashire - hope it is where you are.

I had the all important talk with Kerry my counsellor today about following slimming world. We had a long long chat about it (lasted the hour) , the result is I am going to follow it but it won't be the slimming world plan it will be the Juliet plan with a bit of a safety net (ie a bit more flexibility if and when its needed). And it will form part of my life plan (thats my homework for this weekend) which I will be in control of rather than it controlling me.

So I start again tomorrow - just got to write the shopping list.

Hope you all have a fab weekend.

Juliet

Well im so thrilled that you talked to her about it. And you see it did work out well, and I think its a very good thing the Juliet plan.

Good luck with the shopping list!

I've been up and down over the last few weeks. I went back to the docs last week as I felt I wasn't really progressing and she has now put me on different tablets - one of the side effects is that they make you drowsy which is why she put me on them as I keep waking up thro the night, so am exhausted.

I have my plan for losing weight stuck on the cupboard in the kitchen - tomorrow I will start (I keep saying that tho) and I have joined the challenge at the gym which starts on monday

The sessions with Kerry are still good - the book she recommended is excellent and really helping.

If only I could feel less tired!

Well I think that is a positive step that you have changed meds though and bi dont know if its citalopram or something similar but its a positive step when we are sleep deprived it throws us completely out of whack. So don't be too hard on yourself for not following your diet plan. I think you should perhaps take smaller steps, gym challenge and weight loss plans are great but dont beat yourself up if you can't stick to them on the days where you are feeling tired or rough.

Cut yourself a break, these habits dont get formed overnight and they wont get broken overnight so try and be kind to yourself.
