I wimped out I am afraid!

I made myself go out Saturday morning for a bit longer so it wouldn't matter that I couldn't do a long run today.  I have to go out in the morning to time it with DD2s naps, but it was monsooning and windy from when I got up til lunch time.

Soooo I went on the treadmill instead, but could only manage 5 miles before I nearly died of overheating!

Bit disappointed as I am going to use TM for some marathon training runs (midweek shorter ones, not long ones obviously!), and wanted to be able to comfortably do up to 8 miles inside incase weather is rubbish (which it is guaranteed to be early next year lol!).  I think it is more mental though so I am just going to have to toughen up and keep going.

There was no way I could have tolerated 10 miles in that rain and wind, no matter how much I like outside running!

Did anyone else go outside in the rain today?

Did I hell!!

I have barely run outside for 2 weeks now, combination of having a cold and having a week off.

Its just so bloody miserable, went out tonight though which was fun. All this indoor dreadmill running is turning me into a right wimp! Last year I'd be out in all weather, a few too many dark clouds at the moments and I'm off to the gym :D
