Hello again

I am back for another crack at the whip. Hello to everyone that I already know and hello to everyone that has joined since I was last here.

To cut a long story short everything was going swimmingly on WW until I dropped under 12 stone at which point I had to give up 2 points a day. It may not sound like much but yesterday I had 40g cereal, 1 sandwich and bag of lf crisps and a dinner smaller than my 5 year old and that was my points gone for the day.

I struggled on nights as I had to make my allowance go further and now it's cold I am craving stodge.

So all in all I have decided to give myself a month to see if I can really get going with the plan. On the downside DH has lost 2.5 stone with WW and won't change back at the moment so I foresee more careful planning.

Please take me back I promise to be faithful.

Clare

Hi Clare,

Welcome back. Congrats on dropping down to 11 st something ((Yay you)) But bummer on losinng those precious points. On WW i found it very hard to make them stretch and i'm a grumpy mumpy when i'm hungry!! Plus i found with WW that i'd chose 'their' branded foods, like their cakes or crisps instead of going for fruit  or yogurts etc. I mean lets face it if you've got the choice to have a cake or a banana which one are you going to pick. Cake every time with me, but i knew that i wasn't getting a healthy balanced diet. IYKWIM.

So i to switched back and I'm loving it - the freedom to cook healthy comfort food like beef casserole, chilli and jacket spuds, warming soups etc.

Well it's great to have you back. Are you going to class or following the plan from home? We have a virtual weigh in class for homies, and some great challenges on the go.

Speak soon.

Hi Kerry

I have to confess that even through following WW I have always kept up with your diary, you are doing fantastically well.

Doing plan from home so I may need a few refreshers as I think I might have chucked out most of my old book in a clearout.

Lovely to be back and I am feeling quite excited about this journey now.

Just waiting for Asda man to deliver me lots of goodies and then I'm on a cookathon

Hi ya,

Cheers hunni. I'm half a pound away from my first target - but the last couple of weeks have been hard - yo yoing and sts. Then on Monday i had a syn feast!!! Rubbish day, car trouble, running around after the kids, then hubby came bearing chips!! Well what's a girl supposed to do?? So 50+ syns later and i'm trying to be saintly for the rest of the week. Feeling very focussed and strangley confident for some reason though??  :o)

Well if you need any advice on the plans or syns etc then just ask. We're a friendly bunch on here and there's always someone who will find out for you.

Have fun cooking.

welcome back

you know you can get lots of help and support on here so just ask

hopefully you will beable to do meals for you and the family without hubby knowing too much has changed - does he actually do the counting of his own points or just relies on you giving them to him?

shut if you need anything
