Firstly, how many syns have you had today? It might not be as bad as you think. At least they were snack size bars and not king size ones! :D
Secondly why are you eating them?
Hungry? Then why not make up something Sw friendly.
Boredom? What else could you be doing now? Planning out your meals, writing up this weeks shopping list, writing your Xmas cards out, reading, painting your nails, house work - yuk!!
I know i eat when i am bored, so if i get in that boredom mood i have some tactics - i'll go on the girls DS. I'll do a sudoko puzzle - Sad i know but i love them. But only the easy ones!! The really hard ones fry my brain!! :D I'll play on the Wii, read, have a bath, write out my xmas lists. Anything to take my mind off of food.
Comfort - I also comfort eat. But i'm slowly learning that nine times out of ten it doesn't make me feel better. In fact i normally end up thinking why did i eat that. I didn't really want it, i'm not hungry, i didn't enjoy it.
What ever turned you to the food - worry, stress, arguements etc is still there after you've eaten the chocolate. And then you have to deal with it anyway. Only now you've used up your syns etc and feel terrible about yourself.
I'm depressing myself now!! :D
I guess what i'm trying to say is, ok so you've had 3 mars bars. Don't ruin the rest of the day. You can still pull it back. Why not take the girls out for a lovely walk - weather permitting. I always feel better after a good walk. It takes your mind off of food and makes me feel like i've done something productive with myself - especially if i've over eaten.
Hope that this all makes sense, you can do this.
