Hey all

I am really hoping for a better day today. I just felt awful yesterday, and work was a horrendous day so I headed for the biccie barrel last night and managed to munch my way through half a packet of digestives!!!

I really need to get my head back into it. I think its cos I am not going to class for a few weeks, I knew I'd use it as an excuse xxx

Hi ya,

Don't worry about yesterday, you can't change what you've eaten now. But you can learn from it. Maybe by not having these kind of foods in the house for a while, or having plenty of low syn foods in instead.

You can still lose weight without going to class. I know going to class every week keeps alot of us on the straight and narrow because we don't want to get on the scales in front of others and see a gain. BUT you can still have that on here. We have a weigh in class and i find that by posting on there every week and posting in my food diary, helps me be good 90% of the time - there's always going to be those times when life just gets in the way. But on the whole they keep me on plan.

Maybe you could try this, to see if it helps you. Or maybe once a month you could weigh in with a friend etc. That might help keep you on track.

Just draw a line under yesterday and focus on today. You can do this.

Ok, some tough love here

do you wanna feel this crappy tomorrow? then you know what to do.

I can COMPLETELY sympathise with no class being an excuse to stray, but your doing this for yourself, not for your consultant or group, so hang on in there! I know its tough but think of the end result.

Are you planning on going back to group eventually? part of what is keeping me on the straight and narrow is that i pledged to my consultant that i would have lost 7lbs by the time i check in at xmas (i left group at the end of sept, living in France at the min for my degree)ok, 7lbs in 3 months is hardly impressive, BUT it stops me going backwards. If your going back to group, can you set yourself a little target of where you wanna be before you go back? does your consultant know your not going for a little while? i would ring her and explain the situation, and make a pledge with her! lol.

come on, pick yourself up and dust yourself off! :)

Hiya

I agree with Kerry, you need to draw a line under yesterday and try and get on with today. I had an awful day yesterday in that I had a MacDonalds with DD yesterday afternoon. I drew a line under it. Did some of my Davina DVD that evening and had a mullerlight for pud and that was it.

Today is going OK I hope so heres to a better week.

Hey all

I wish I had seen your replies earlier lol cos i have had another awful day. But good news I am gonna go back to class on tuesday (don't care how skint we are, i've worked too hard to not go). So i will just get back to it tomorrow and see what happens on tuesday.
