Evening all

Sorry to come on here and be totally off topic and miserable but I know you guys don't really mind!  I ended my engagement on Monday after 3 and a half years, and had just an awful week!

I have to tell my son tonight who thankfully has been with his dad while I try and sort things out.  Very little changes as the house etc is all mine and I can manage alone (hey this is the second time around - I'm a seasoned pro!!)  I just feel like I have let him down.

Food, for the first time in my life has gone out the window and I've hardly thought about it all week.  As a concequence though, I am tired and feel really quite unwell.  Just goes to show the benefit of a good solid diet.

Hope to be back on track soon - but life suddenly seems very bleak!

Thanks for listening

Nicxx

 Nic.

You have done really well to make the decision in the first place.  It is very often easier to just put up with things rather than do something about it.  It will get easier I promise you.  The old saying "time is a great healer" is so true.

You obviously love your son very much and you have him so life is definetly not Bleak.

I split with my partner after 9 years in May and same as you it is my house so no prob there, doesn't mean it's all plain sailing though.  I don't have children but I have 2 dogs that are my children.  I had them both spayed yesterday together and I got in a right state worrying about them and the anaestetic but it was also the realisation that I had no support at home was part of the difficulty.  But I got through it and today we are in revovery so to speak!!

I have been on and off SW for several weeks now but I still come on here every day so keep your chin up and I hope it goes well with you son.

Mel..x

hi nic

u r so brave. it takes a lot of guts to do what is right no matter how hard it is. ur son will be fine. he knows mummy and daddy love him and as he gets older he will understand it was better that u both lived apart. just imagin if u stayed together and how bad the atmosphere could get. that is not a good enviroment for u let alone for a child.

hope u have a better weekend babe. send hugh (((((((((((((((((HUGS)))))))))))))))

Hi

Sorry I've been a bit awol eating all the rubbish in the world ;)

You don't say how old your son is, but I'm sure he knows that you love him and will do your best for him.  You're in a good situation at least as far as home & finances go so there's less to worry about.

Hope that you're feeling a bit better by now and that you've managed to eat some food - even if it's just some wholesome soup.

Thinking of you and please come and rant on here if you think it'll help!

Liz
