Hi,

Ok, so please bear with me as I have a couple of really stupid questions to ask!

It's my birthday coming up and I am considering asking DH for a wii fit. I could do with losing some weight but have no time to go to the gym as there is nothing local and the local swimming times are also not good for me. So I have a few questions;

When you buy the wii fit do you have to buy a wii console separately or have one first? What usually comes in the package if you buy one? Do you have to have a TV to plug it into or is a computer good enough (I don't have a TV)? What other accessories are a MUST and what are nice options?

I don't want DH to spend a fortune as we can't really afford it at the moment but I know if I ask for it he will spend as much as I want.

Thanks and sorry for being so thick!

Hiya and welcome to the board

Don't worry about asking questions. Trust me, I had tonnes of them initially (and still do lol)

I think you do have to have a TV. I cant guarentee it so someone else might be able to say or you might have to check it out, but I do think you need one

The wii fit you get usually as a package with the board and the game (about £65 I think) but you then need the actual console and controllers too. But you can get it in one bundle like this

http://www.toysrus.co.uk/Toys-R-Us/Video-Games/Bundles-and-Consoles/Wii-and-Wii-Fit-Pack(0026967)

If you do decided to go for it the only things I'd recommend is getting 2 controllers as its always more fun to do it together. I'd also really recommend one of the raymonds rabids games (there are 3). They are sooooo fun and you can also use the board with some of them

Hope this helps a bit. Any more questions, feel free to ask

Hi

I just happened to pop in... our Wii is on H's desk and is plugged into the PC screen. We bought ours second hand from Ebay which made it a lot cheaper.

Hope that helps

Thanks!

How is it plugged into the PC screen? Do you have to keep on unplugging it for any reason? I ask because we have soooo many cables under the computer desk I wouldn't like to have to go under there every time I wanted to play.

Thanks

Thanks for that, I didn't know you could put it into your PC screen. Worth knowing
