Hi,

I'm new to the Wii and will hopefully be getting a Wii fit soon (I sooo need the exercise, but don't have the time or money to go to the gym). I keep seeing this Wii fit plus pop up. Does anyone have it? Is it any good, or a waste of money?

Edited to ask can you recommend any good games?

Love Megs

Hello, do I know you from somewhere????

Welcome to the board

From what I can see the wii fit plus is similar to the normal wii fit but with additional exercises and balance games. In which case, you are better off getting your Wii Fit board with wii fit plus game.

Games wise, if you want something fun and silly then I would definitely recommend any of the Raymonds Rabids games. They are fantastic to play with friends as they are extremely entertaining. If Bethany is into disney then she might enjoy the disney think fast game (I know me and my sisters love it lol). Katelyn quite likes the disney princess game, but not sure if that might be a bit young?

It depends on what kind of games you like. We cant be doing with story games (if you know what I mean) and much prefer lots of mini games that we can play with friends. If thats the case with you then look for any of the games that end in "party".

Have fun

Hi

I've got the Wii Fit Plus. It seems that the makers have added more games, and you can make your own routines which run in sequence rather than having to come out of one area and go into another - makes it easier and quicker to use.

as for some fun games, the Wii Sports Resort is worth is money. not only can you play alone and against each other (up to four players) but you can play as teams in some of the events. you have to complete certain things in each event to earn stamps, for example when you play frizbee you have to hit the centre of the target on all 10 throws to earn a stamp. only downside is, each player must have a Wii motion to plug into the Wii remote which puts up the cost.

and the Raving Rabbids games are fun, the TV party allows you to use the Wii Fit Board in the games if you have one, although you don't have to. we really like the singing/band play and dancing games. Mario Kart id fun and you can play online in races against friends or people from all over the world. my other half likes golf so obviously he like Tiger Woods which you can also play online

If you join places like lovefilm.com, you can rent out games. they sometimes have a free trial period, which could be handy for you just to try a few titles to see what you like best, better than spending money on something which looks like a lot of fun and then you never play it.

Happy Wii-ing! and have fun
