Macaroni cheese recipe?

I was craving it this weekend and I faked it, but it wasn't very good and wondered if anyone had a good and fairly foolproof recipe.

I love macaroni cheese, it's the ultimate in comfort food after a hard day.

Thanks all!

Rae

We have been having this one a lot lately to feed 4

macaroni!

colmans cheese sauce sachet x2 - make up as directed and add a little grainy mustard

add to cooked macoroni

top with grated cheese

sprinkle oregano and add a few sliced tomatoes

grill/bake untill browns

If im doing quick for my girls I will add peas in to the sauce.  Ive also been making my own sauce a bit lately too using a little cornfour mixed with a bit of water then add milk and boil then simmer till it thickens then stir in some cheese.  I always estimate measurements but it is always edible.

make a simple white sauce, butter melted then add flour till all the butter has soaked into it and you are left with a ball of flour and butter slowly add milk making sure that you wisk so it is smooth little bit at a time, add grated cheese to taste, add to cooked macaroni put it in the oven till it sizzles then grill till golden brown , if u like you can add slices of tomato when it is in the oven
