hi everyone!

what's everyone up to? it's oh so quiet in here...

i have a virus, a hacking cough, streaming nose, and generally feel lousy - keep waking myself up coughing & then can't get back to sleep - driving hubby MAD lol!

still am happy as a pig in muck, we've finally booked our honeymoon - couldn't afford wedding AND honeymoon in April, so we've booked for April '10, and we're off to the Maldives - SO EXCITING!!!! can't imagine that it really is as beautiful as it looks, but everything online says it is, so very giddy!

however, i have 35lb to lose by then, so i'm on a bit of a mission! am eating healthily & exercising lots (or i was before this flaming virus!) - with 21 of those targeted by christmas - have lost 2 so far lol...

anyway thought i'd have a little chat!

hope everyone else is doing okay!

hugs,

cl-wondering_one

Hello Hun, I'm not eating healthily at all! I was up til 11:30 last friday doing batch cooking so I wouldn't have to worry in the evenings this week and we had ONE meal from that lol

H is out tonight so I ordered Dominos - it was lush!

I'm just irritated by all these bl**dy crackers/fireworks going off - it's been going on since september now in preparation for Diwali and then Halloween and now bonfire night *sigh* I sound really old and grumpy don't I? lol

I'm really tired and therefore will be off to bed in a min but know I won't sleep properly til H is in bed safe and sound. Roll on Friday.

Meeting up with 6 other ladies from the SW board on Sunday which I CANNOT wait for!!! Not that I'm on the SW wagon, but hey, they don't seem to hold it against me ;)

I know I've said already, but be careful on that honeymoon (unless you want twins PMSL)

Hi,

Like the sound of the honeymoon! You must be sooooo excited. I bet it feels quite far away when you feel so poorly :-( (I have a great skill for knowing how to make people feel worse...)

I feel like I've not cooked anything for weeks on end and tonight is no exception. We went to Manchester last night and went to Wagamama which was lovely, then we were out looking at houses today so went to the pub for lunch. So my kitchen is a stranger to me! Well I say that but I've just had a man measuring up for a bit of a fix up of the kitchen which will make cooking even more fun :-)

Hey all,

I've had a bit of a long busy week, so looking forward to chilling a bit today.

Wonderingone you have a lot on your plate at the moment!  Hope you feel better soon, and your honeymoon sounds very cool.

I haven't done any exciting cooking this week - I had a meal round at a friends last night, and she cooked me beef and mushroom casserole which was yummy.  And we had a Waitrose mini winter pudding to follow - like summer pud but with winter fruit - yum.

I've been trying a bit of FLYlady again this week to organise myself a bit more.  I'm determined that the house will not be a complete tip by Christmas because if it is I will wear myself out trying to clean it as well as all the other christmas prep. (parents coming down).  Anyway, that's been going quite well so far - shining the sink and all that!

Lots of busy people then!

Mad mad mad here too. DD's party on Sunday is now HUGE - 6 boys and 11 girls and parents!

Will breathe a sigh of relief when that is over!
