A message from iVillage:

"The Prime Minister, Gordon Brown, has agreed to answer questions put forward by our Community!

With a general election coming up, what would you like to ask the Prime Minister?

Maybe you have a family and have been affected by the government's maternity and benefits policies. Have you or a loved one been made redundant? Are your needs being met?

What do you think about the roles of women in goverment, or the treatment of women in the UK and abroad?

We need your questions by Tues September 1st and we'll select 15 to put to the Prime Minister."

Hi,

Yes all is calm - ish.

My brother who was off the drink (not the badly behaved one) had a set back, and lost the new job he had for no reason, he was making sales and the other sales folk weren't, same with a few others but as they were all on some crazy trial thing of the job centres they got told to go, and the other ones got to stay who were under conract, a solicitor is looking into it. but he took it hard and undid all his good work, he wont admit it but you can smell drink on him. he will be ok and pick himself up, we know he can do it.

The other more troublesome one, has been referred to  MH hospital near where I live and the specialize in detox and the underlying causes of the problem, as he just cant seem to keep off it even for a day. I hope they keep him in for a while (a year whould be nince lol!) so mum and dad can get away for a week.
