He saw a different doc who wants to send him for a 12 week detox on souh coast. Apparently (mum told me) he doesn't want to go as he will be quite cut off (a good thing iykwim) so we are all trying to get him to go. I think they will address the causes, as 6 months in hosp certainly got it out of his system, so why go back? he obviously has issues that need sorting, he wont live long as he is. A positve thing I think, he just needs to see it that way too.

That's great your brother has been offered a place! I really do hope he reconsiders and takes it.Maybe he is just scared at "facing his demons" so to speak?

It's not like its forever is it? 12 weeks is not very long in the grand scheme of things.They could be just what your bro needs to get his life back on track.

Mum has told him he rally doesn't have much choice if he wants to live! They are waiting for a date now, and mum and dad are going to have a much needed hloiday!
