As "most" but not all cervical cancer is caused by HPV which is sexually transmitted, you may actually be considered low risk..... ask your GP or practice nurse if you actually need a smear test or not..... they may say to wait until you're sexually active. I would imagine a smear being done now would be more painful for you than the average woman because your hymen is still in place. Hope you seek advice soon Nicki x
