she said to allow 2-3 hrs as they do everything they need and results there and then

this makes me think they think its bad

hello babes, welcome to the board,

i know how hard the waiting is i myself am currently awaiting an appointment to undergo a p[roceedure where they pass a camera into my womb to check for cvancer due to abnormal smear result in the netx of my womb (further in than cervix)  it give syou far far far stooo much time to worry about the worst case scenarios ... i know how your feeling

i also had an appointment in 2006 after i found a lump.........  two week referrals are very very standard babes... they offer every single lady who has a confirmed lump by the gp an appointment so quickly.

they have tolld you 2-3 hours so that they can properly test your lump thats all... when i went i was in and out in an hour.... my lump was fine.

you may be in and out after just ten minutes dependiong on what the specialist can feel.

i hope thats put you a little more at ease..... although if you feel anything like i do now then am still sending you massssssssiiiiiiiiiiiivvvvvvvvvvvvveeeeeeeeeee ( hugs)0)
