Hello,

In February 2008 I was diagnosed with Stage III breast cancer. I had a lumpectomy followed by chemo and radio, and was given the all-clear in March this year.

This sounds stupid, but is there any proof that severe stress can cause breast cancer? I was going through a very difficult time in the months leading up to when I found the lump, and now I am going through something else which has broken me in pieces. Because my cancer fed on oestrogen, and stress affects hormone levels, could this bring the cancer back?

Sorry to be ridiculous, but I can't stop worrying about this.
