Hi All,

Have you ever wanted to go up and ask someone where they bought there clothes?

This happened to me a wee while ago. I work in a supermarket and a woman was wandering around doing her shopping and i liked the look/style of clothes she was wearing and i so wanted to go up and ask her where she had bought them.

As there is often when I go shopping and some of the clothes shop have advertising saying "We do larger sizes." you go along the rail and see some nice styles & colours of clothes and as you get to the "larger" sizes. The colours & styles just go out the window.

They seem to think that anyone over a size 14/16 wants to wear mud brown, gruesome green, gungy grey & with all the style of a tattie sack. actually some tattie sacks are better styled lol.

I'm not saying they are all like that but some times it takes a lot of looking to get something nice to wear.

That's my gripe for the day

Hi,

I do ask people where they buy their clothes from! I only started doing it when some people asked where I'd got mine so I thought it must be an acceptable thing to do, lol.

Ikwym about the "larger" size clothes as well, sometimes it's like there's the choice of huuuuge swirly patterns in black and cerise or it's all the gungy colours with not much inbetween. And shapeless too!

Ellooo!

Don't forget the hideous oranges and drab greens..and why oh why do the designers insist on putting all those gawdy big sequin things everywhere..and why are the necklines so big???

Hmm methinks this could turn into a rant lol

Hi All,

Don't get me started on neck lines lol. I'm 5"1' and a V-neck sweater or blouse usually has the V stopping half way down to my belly button.

Message: Yes! That's true, I always had arm hole trauma as well - surely not everyone needs to see what bra I'm wearing, lol.
