Hi,

I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions...??

I get REALLY emotional & moody a couple of days before TOTM & it lasts pretty much the whole time I'm on. I'm close to tears all day long & feel like my world is just crumbling down around me... In truth, there's not alot wrong with my life! My partner is always on edge as he's convinced I'm having an affair or want to leave him as i am just soo horrible to him! Neither, might i add are true! I just can't seem to stop myself!

I also get such bad pains too but i don't like to take painkillers.

Any idea greatly appreciated :)

Hi Nats

LOL, you will find that I am the usual person replying on this board too!

You could try Oil of Evening Primrose capsules. Best taken continually. A lot of women find they help with TOTM problems. Check out though that the are compatible with any other medication you are taking (including the contraceptive pill)

Hi Nats, me again.

Don't want to scare you but  I read a whole lot about this in an alternative health mag last night. Sometimes a lot of pain at TOTM means you might have endometriosis. Just as well to get it checked out with your GP. The condition is unpleasant rather than dangerous.

Hi Tabbs,

Thanks so much for thinking of me. It's certainly something to think about. I had a little operation last month & they suggested trying the coil but i was hoping to try something more natural first. My MIL had suggested Evening Primrose a while ago but i didn't take her advise! Looks like i should have!

DP is going to pick some up from the health food shop for me!

Hi Nats

If you have had an op - D&C I would guess, they would probably have found out then if you had endometriosis. Glad you are trying the Evening Primrose though.
