Message: Someone one recommended to me strong sea-sickness tablets for migraines. Something to do with restoring the balance of the inner ear, which can make a migraine worse. I haven't tried it yet, but my doctor put me on the mini-pill rather than the combined pill coz taking 2 30/500 Co-codamol and 800mg of ibuprofen was no longer even making a dent in my pain.

I only usually resort to ibuprofen as a last measure. I found I was getting more frequent migraines from it. One handy thing a physiotherapist once told me, when I put my back out, that despite the fact that it says on the packet, only take 400mg ibuprofen, it is actually quite safe to take more, up to 800mg.

But like I said, ibuprofen isn't always best. It was even on Watchdog a few years back that it can *cause* headaches, the doctor told me that too. So guys, be careful using it, not everyone gets it, but some do.

Message: Sometimes if I am taking a coedeine based painkiller for my headaches I get "rebound" headaches, which are horrible and make me feel quite ill.
