Message: Hi Stephie
You may have the beginings of oral thrush or it may be simply due to plaque building up, unseen, on and around your tongue.
I see quite of lot of tongue problems in my job and these are the 2 most common that we treat.
Your dentist is the expert on all areas of oral care & it would be advisable if this doesn't settle to make an appointment to see your dentist.
In the meantime, use a mouthwash such as Oraldene (available at the supermarket for a big bottle for around £4) twice daily after brushing. You could also try using a baby toothbrush to brush your tongue.
