Hey,

Recently, I've been suffering from really severe nausea. It usually happens in the evening, from about 8pm onwards, and has been keeping me up all night long. It's come to the point where I spend literally all night sat in bed with a sick bowl reading or listening to music or doing anything I can to keep my mind off it, but it just won't go away, or let me sleep. Though I haven't actually been sick (Yet; I'm typing this at half midnight in desperation because this is probably the twelfth night in a row) it's really really disturbing. I also have a history of emetophobia, which obviously doesn't help the cause. I eat three meals a day, all in reasonable portions, with one or two snacks inbetween. I don't eat unhealthily, nor am I a health freak. I'm just getting bored of this same old routine, and when I go back to college, I'm worried about how my loss of sleep will effect my work. Please help if you have any idea what's wrong with me!

Many Thanks,

C x

Hi C,

Have you been to see your GP about this yet, if not you should to see if they can find any obvious cause. At the same time though do you still suffer with emetophobia? My DP does and if he ever feels the slightest bit queasy it sends him into a panic which usually makes it worse.

You should definitely get it checked out, it's not a feeling anyone should have to put up with every night.
