Hi all,

Just wondering if you have any advice on how to cope with eating near people?  I've managed to have a really good week and stick to (almost) everything I'd planned to eat which was my 'homework/target' from the ED place last week.  But, yesterday was bad as I was on a course so didn't eat all day since was around so many people and today I'm on a work inset day type thing where we've got to eat together so I know thats not going to happen either.  Then its the weekend which is always worse anyway because I don't have the structure of a work day to help and I'm worried that its going to end up with me not getting back on track until Monday which is like 4 bad days out of 7!

Am also worried as have just discovered I'm intolerant to carob???? and cows milk so not even sure what I can eat now.  Am I just making it complicated?  Just feels like I'm not going to get anywhere when I keep finding excuses but not sure how to get round them.

Have a good Friday xxxxxx

Hi DM,

just managed to start eating at work myself and I do realise how hard it can be. I thought everyone was watching every mouthful I ate and mentally judging me. I settled into the fact that really they are all busy eating and talking and were not paying any attention to what I was doing so it became easier. I think you have to try and make the effort to do it. It does get easier.

I am wondering if I have food intolerances myself and that will leave me with an even more restricted diet. I am going to have some tests done to see then take it from there.. It's a real problem isn't it. I am sorry i don't have any easy answers for you.

Hugs

Jillxx
