Keeping Safe on the OED Board

Dear all,
Here are some guidelines to help you stay safe when using this board:

~ Messages that encourage or promote weight loss, purging and negative tips will be removed.

~ References to weight or weight loss, including calorie intake, previous weight, current weight, target weight, will be removed.

~ Messages that reward/encourage/commend weight gain or loss are not acceptable and will be removed.

~ Messages that encourage resistance to treatment will be removed.

~ Messages that include graphic mention of self-harm or give descriptions of behaviour that others might find distressing or disturbing are not acceptable and will be removed.

~ Messages must not identify any staff or other patients. You can talk about your own treatment but you must not reveal who provided that treatment.

~ Any posts that identify you in ‘real time’ will be removed. This includes e-mail addresses, telephone numbers or information that will allow others to identify you.

Please also be aware of the general guidelines in our:

Message: I am sorry, as I know I inadvertently put my email addie in a message. I will be more careful in future and am sure everyone else will be too about addies and weights and stuff.
Thanks for the reminder
Best wishes and an apology hug to you!
