hi ladies

it was discovered at my recurrent miscarriage (have had 4m/c's) at i have PCOS and my consultant in London put me on metformin.

i have been taking it for 4/5mnths now and me and DH have decided wee will TTC next cycle but....... IM TERRIFIED.....

the metformin has regulated me between 32-34day cycles so im guessin it is working. think i will be visiting my gp first to test my hormone levels to see if the metformin is doing what it should be before we TTC again

are there any other ladies on here hoping to TTC soon but too scarred to....   i feel so silly

It looks to me as though your cycles are pretty regular so I would go ahead and TTC, the more you try the better the docs say, my clinic told us to try and fit in sex 2-3 times a day which hubbie was well happy about lol!  I can appreciate you are scared (had miscarriages myself) but it will all be worth it in the end and you will never forget your angels.

  long time no speak. tbh have stayed away from the boards for a couple of months just to sort my head out. Just wanted to give u a little hope. As you know i had 2 miscarriages in last 4 months { have pcos } and started met at the beginning of sept.

well i am now 5 +1 pg. the next week is crucial for me as i always miscarry around 6 weeks. My son was conceived when i was on met so i really hope it works this time. i will take the met till i'm around 12 weeks.

just wanted to say i know it's scary and i'm terrified it will happen again but at the same time i need to do this as i see it as my only chance to have a sucssesful pg. be brave hun and take the plunge .

wooooo hooo, thats great news!!! congrats!!

i really want to TTC again next cycle but am so so scarred!!! just know if i can handle another m/c....

can i ask, whith your son, did you use progesterone or clomid along side the metformin?
