Sorry I didn't sign in yesterday so never saw this message. I am getting on fine. I feel normal and nothing other than a few stomach cramps so I am up to the dose the doctor wants me on 1500mg a day. It then started me thinking, maybe it doesn't work on me then, but he side effects are not standard are they, not everyone will get them..

How long did you say you were on them for?

i have now been on metformin for 4/5 months, side affects subsided around 2/3wks! i am on 1500mg and i feel that this dose works for me as it has regulated my cycles!

if you have a nosie on internet, some VERY LUCKY people dont suffer the side affects of the metformin and some have been put on a different kind of metformin, slow releasing because they could not handle the side affects of the normal met!

stick with hun, i promise you, it is worth it in the end
