Hi there I didn't use the Allen Carr book myself, but many people have had great success with it. I think it helps with the "mind over matter" aspect of smoking and can be a real support. I know most people prefer to try to quit altogether, but if you're realy struggling, how about rationing yourself to say just a few cigarettes a day for a while. Depending on how many you smoke, take a third of that number out of the packet and put them into an empty packet and only allow yourself those ones in a day. If you succeed for a couple of weeks you'll have cut out all the habitual ones and will be well on the way to cutting out the rest. Good luck and keep in touch Luv Maid
