Message: Hi there,

I so agree with you. I have signed the petition. I have very bad brittle asthma and am a regularly admited to ITU with my asthma. I currently buy a prepayment certificate as all the drugs I am on cost a fortune. Also, whilst getting a nebuliser on loan from my local hospital, I needed a portable one, to stand any chance of living a normal life and continuing to work - it cost me £150.

Quite frankly, it's a disgrace.

Let's keep our fingers crossed that they realise just how serious the situation is for some of us.

Message: Hi all,
I think heart disease patients should get free prescriptions too. I was unable to have emergency bypass surgery as my arteries were found to be too diseased. This surgery would have cost the NHS thousands. Instead I had to pay for prescriptions for the heart medications to keep me alive, so I paid for three- monthly season tickets - I didn't go for the 12 months one as did not know if I would survive that long!! Anyway I was sooo pleased to reach the age of 60 so they are now free. ( One good thing about getting older)
Good Luck,
Chris
