Message: Does type I diabetes cause a major increase in appetite or metabolism? My boyfriend of just a few months eats a ridiculous amount of food everywhere we go but does not seem to be effected by the massive caloric intake. He is 26 with childhood onset diabetes.

Anyone have any ideas?
