Hi, I've been inspired to attempt to cut what we spend on groceries and in turn what we waste. With that in mind I decided to make a list of what we have, food wise, in the cupboards, fridge and freezer. So DH got me a couple of A4 sized dry whiteboards to make my lists. I've got through 1 freezer (of 3) and 1 1/2 cupboards (of 3) so just under half way. I'm feeling quite pleased about it cos, if nothing else, it's made me aware of what we have and what's getting near its date. There was stuff lurking that I'd forgotten about. I started the freezer list a while ago and it's really reduced my food shopping trips. There's a lot of forgotten meat lurking in my freezer (as well as lots of forgotten lurkers in the cupboards...!) and I've managed to make quite a few lovely meals with stuff we already had. I just thought I'd share... Rachel
