1. What do you like most about your life at the moment.

2. What book would you take with you if you had chose one book only to take on holiday?

5. Would you ever train as an airplane pilot given the chance and it didn't cost anything?

I will answer these later in the week end. All I will say is that my answers now are different than what they would have been thirty years ago.

1. What do you like most about your life at the moment.

The fact I'm going on holiday (Cornwall) in two days time.

2. What book would you take with you if you had chose one book only to take on holiday?

Well I will be taking a random library book or two which I will be choosing tomorrow - I think mindless chick lit will be at the top of the pile having just finished a huge rather dull classic.

Not been abroad

No I dont do tents these days

I dont think my eyes are good enough... but no, it doesn't really appeal.

I only have 2 days left at work before I go on mat leave! Fab!

Can I take my DS with over 100 books on the cartridge? If not then something huge and frivolous, the new Dan Brown will do very nicely!

No, we used it to our favour to go to Iceland, not a cheap holiday but not the crazy prices of a few years ago.

4. Would you go on a camping holiday if it was free apart from spending money?

Never, never, never. Running water is a basic human right.

5. Would you ever train as an airplane pilot given the chance and it didn't cost anything?

I don't think so, it has never appealed and I am a bit of a scaredy cat. DH would love to though, I have stopped him because he is a danger on the ground, never mind in the air. Also we live very close to several RAF bases and the planes have a habit of crashing in the village - not a good thing, for anyone concerned.

1. What do you like most about your life at the moment.

My son has just started secondary school which means I'm not doing the school run anymore.  He's also got an increasing sense of independence and I now have more time to myself without having to be the entertainment committee all the time.  I've spent time over cooking, started baking at the weekends, my house is tidier than ever and I've been able to spend as much time gardening as I want.

2. What book would you take with you if you had chose one book only to take on holiday?

3. Has the current exchange rate caught you out on holiday.(if you have been to Europe this year)

Has it ever!  We went to Spain and paid £40 for a McDonalds for 5 of us. 

4. Would you go on a camping holiday if it was free apart from spending money?

Probably not.  I'm afraid I like my home comforts and not traipsing across a field to get to the toilet block, meeting various strangers first thing in the morning.

I think I would.  I hate flying and I think I mostly hate it because I just don't understand it.  How can that big tin can, full of fuel, people and luggage fly through the air at such speed?  I think if I understood it more, it would take the fear away.

that i made the right decision to give up work again (for now)  to stay at home with the children and that i am in a happy relationship.

Japsper Fforde - The Eyre Affair  - a comedy that has been on my TBR shelf for too long

we went all inclusive to Canary Islands, and where we were there wasnt really any serious shopping to be done

yes cos i hit 40 this year and am trying new things that i havent done b4 like my first foreign hol etc.

well as i flew for the first time this year to Fuerteventura and burst into tears when we landed there, think i should get a bit more practice as a passenger first.  cant even do back seat passenger :)
