Hi all!

I am back ( obviously LOL!)

Many thanks to my old mate anc for keeping an eye on the Board for me.

The holiday in China was fantastic, i also managed to read 3 books while I was away, in spite of the hectic scedule.

We were lucky enough to actually be in Beijing when all the 60th anniversary celebrations were going on - it was amazing. Saw the pandas, climbed the Great Wall - well a bit of it, and also went to the Terra cotta warriors, just to name a few things. Also rode on the fastest train in the wolrd the Maglev, in Shanghei - it reaches 341 km per hour!

The downside is I have come back with a really bad throat and cold/bad chest.......hmm,mm swine flu - doc seems to think not. Just that i am asthmatic and prone to catching these things.

That's all for now, having a bit of  duvet day today and trying to shake off this cold.

Message: Hi Helen, Welcome back Wasnt quite sure when you were back so popped in with my hat on today. Glad you enjoyd your holiday. DH was saying that the day of the 60th celebrations in Beijing was the brightest day they had ever had as the clouds were seeded the day before so that the pollution was washed away for the day . Apparently some folk got sunburn for the first time. Hope you only have a cold. The criteria for Swineflu diagnosis is to include a fever I believe. So heres hoping you only have a heavy cold which clears soon
