Hi,

I've just read Goodnight Mr Tom and must admit to an excellent read. I didn't know until I found the book that it was originally written for children and although the TV version was more graphic in the scenes with Wills mother and when Will and his sister are found after being abandoned they did stick very closely to the books details.

I'm going to lend it to my 9 year old granddaughter next but thought other board users might be interested too.
