I'm so pleased to find someone else who is trying to make the most of a "champagne" bathroom suite - your description of the colour is my bathroom exactly!

I'm currently looking at neutral paint colours for the walls - cream, stone, that sort of thing. But I'm struggling to see which ones will actually go with it. Dark red seems to be a good option for accessories, but not for the walls! ;)

Would love to know what paint colours you chose - and are you happy with the result?

Hiya,

Upuntil recently I lived with my mum, we moved into that house ust over twoyears ago and it too had the champagne, beigey suite. The previous owners had painted it green with sort of nautical themed wallpaper border (awful had rope knots and lighthouses on it!) but we painted it a colour called soft stone, which was a neutral beigey colour, and added dark brown accesories and bamboo flooring, which looked so much better! Very spa looking!

My new house has white suites, and I dont like it at all. It just feels so boring, I wish I had my mums bathroom!

Message: Thanks for your encouragement - your mum's bathroom sounds lovely and has given me new hope that ours can also look good. I've just bought some tester pots to try out - including one in soft stone...
