I have a 50 year old oak parquet floor and it's a pain!

It seems to attract dust and cobwebs liek you wouldn't believe. Scratches whenever you move furniture on it and gives the room a horrible echoey feel. It would need to be laid by a professional to ensure complete levelness and fit and was probably really expensive, but looks like a school gym floor.

No I don't like it, but I don't have the heart to rip it up. I cover most of it with a rug!
