As a bit of fun, we thought we would run a little contest on the Official WICKED UK forum. Your challenge is to create a haiku about WICKED. A haiku is a form of Japanese poetry that normally uses 17 syllables over three lines in a 5-7-5 formation e.g. Write about WICKED Use seventeen syllables in five-seven-five. (not a great example, but hopefully illustrates what we mean) Your haiku can be anything you like to do with the musical WICKED, the characters in WICKED - or just what you love about WICKED. We’ll ask the Cast to choose their favourite - so the more inventive or fun your haiku is, the more chance there is of getting picked as a winner. Post your entry on this thread by the closing date of 27 March 2008 and we will announce their favourite here as soon as possible afterwards – so get writing and have fun! Stop press: The 5 best haikus chosen by the Cast will each receive this set of Gregory Maguire's novels from Headline Review - the new paperback edition of 'Son of A Witch' and his new hardback 'Confessions of an Ugly Stepsister'.
