Anyone else see this? Chess in Concert, starring both Kerry Ellis and Idina Menzel, is being shown in UK cinemas from 5-7 September!!! I saw the show live at the Albert Hall and it was incredible! Kerry and Idina were both amazing and they duet on I Know Him So Well in Act 2! Josh Groban and Adam Pascal were brilliant too. Very excited to see this again :-D There's a whole list of showings up at this site http://www.more2screen.com/ The playbill article says cast members might be coming to the Covent Garden one!!! Wonder who...? :-D

There is now a C.D. and a DVD available of the whole Chess Concert at the Royal Albert Hall.  I have just ordered my DVD from "Amazon".  The reviews were not good on Idina's performance but they loved Kerry.

It will be soooo good not to have to squint at the various u-tube videos to appreciate this fab. show which I have always regretted missing.    Much love to all our regulars.  Keep thig blog going!!!! bonytony.
