How is everyone?  Are you up to anything this weekend, perhaps celebrating Bonfire Night, or doing something Christmassy??!!!

I am currently supposed to be browsing the internet for Christmas Pressies..but couldnt resist popping in to say Hi! :o)

I havent been around so much once again as we have been busy selling our house!!!!  The first Saturday of half term we took a look at a house we thought looked nice while browsing houses for sale... Well the minute we walked in the door we fell in love with it!  We came home and worked out that we could afford it if we tighten our belts a little and immediately set to work touching up paintwork here....  Our house went on the market at the end of half term week and the first people to look round offered the asking price!

We shall be staying here for Christmas.. our last Christmas in our first home together... and hopefully moving early on in the New Year... I am so excited as it means a lot of positive changes for us as a family!!

How exciting about the house!

This will probably be our last here too. We'll need to move to a bigger house in the new year as we're hoping DP's children will be coming to live with us. Hate moving house but when it's necessary I can cope!

I'm doing pretty well with my christmas organisation actually. I'm quite proud of myself as I've written half of my cards as well as getting quite a few presents. Woo Hoo!

Hugs,

Thank you Sarah, we are very excited!  We bought this house together before children were even on the agenda (well apart from DH's son obviously) so once Aimee was born we were bursting at the seams really...  They currently share a room and it will be so lovely for them to have their own space.

I dont like the prospect of moving house much either.. at least I didnt till we found this one!  We are going to have to do a lot of sorting out I think as we have so much stuff up in our loft...

Well done you on writing half of your Christmas Cards!  That is some achievement especially when you have handmade them too :o)

I still need to make some more cards before I can even think about writing them.  A project for next week I think as I like to do them when the girls are at school, much more peaceful.

I have finished buying the girls' presents.. including stocking fillers so I am organised in that respect.. I also have written my own list ;o)   Just need to get my act together and start buying for everyone else in the family.  My Mum wants to go Christmas Shopping some time next week.. so Card making and Christmas shopping here I come!!!!!

fantastic!  I think you know when you first walk into a house whether it's right.  We only got past the front door into the hall!  We'd looked at loads as well and had kept not viewing our current one because of area.  As it happens we get no trouble and the "better areas" are getting quite a bit.

As for Christmas we have made loads of designs from bindeez bead things to go on the front of our cards today and they actually look really good.  DD wants to make a santa one but I think this may be a bridge too far - we've done trees, snowmen, presents and holly so far.
