I recently bought one of these steam cleaners as I had seen how effective they were on tv. My Sister had one of a different type, bought some years before and had said hers wasn't any good but I thought that this one I got would be better because several years had passed so it would have improved and because I was convinced it would work as well as I'd seen it working. WRONG.

So I would really be interested in hearing whether any of these steam cleaners that we see on tv all the time actually do work for some people. Do they work for anyone ?

I followed the instructions to the letter and I just can't think what kind of industrial strength stains I must have that these things can't budge it. I just wanted to clean the kitchen floor. Had to use good old bleach and a mop in the end.

All contributions gratefully received.
