Hello everyone

I'm CL over on the Green Living Board and have just called in to say hello and to pass on apologies from Earth_Willow for not having been around for a few days.  She's having problems with her internet connection and can't get online until its fixed.

grrrr - she has my sympathies :-)

I was reading your thread about the seasons and having spent a perfect day in garden today, I decided this is definately my favourite time of the year. Although I'm just as likely to say that whenever you ask me, but for today, its my favourite time :-)  The day was bright and breezy; hot in the middle yet cool at the edges.  I dried the clothes, harvested squash, courgettes, apples and tomatoes, and spent some time trimming and tidying some of the most vigorous of growers. 

Tomorrow I plan to pick wild fruit and make some more berry cordial to keep away the coughs and colds in the winter.  Its wonderful and warming drunk with hot water on a cold frosty morning.
