I've used iVillage before but this is the first time I've visited the fertility boards.

I won't tell my whole story here but the reason I'm here is because I'm interested in getting pregnant using donor sperm, but I don't know where to start. I've been looking online at various web sites, but there's just too much information to take in at once, what I'm wondering is are there any places where I can go just for counseling and advice?

This is a decision I have come to fairly recently, given that I'm single and 36 and basically I'm realizing that if I keep waiting around for 'Mr Right', I'm probably going to miss out on having children. I realize there are no guarantees, and being a single parent is a struggle, but if I don't at least try to have a child before it's too late I'm going to regret it.

Has anyone here used donated sperm, and is there any advice they can offer?
