Hi All,

I had a faint line yesterday but today Clearblue digital confirmed that I am indeed pregnant! I am over the moon, though my losses during past year call for caution (probably an understatement of the year)!

Please send sticky baby gue to my direction as much as you possibly can!

Hanna (44 next month) XX

Hanna

CONGRATULATIONS!
Great news. I remember you from MD Nov (I think) which I was on earlier this year.
Hoping for a healthy sticky bean for you. I'll keep stalking you and hope that I'm not far behind.
I know what you mean about the caution though. I've had three losses this year already and my next BFP will call for no emotional reaction until I'm at least 20 weeks (yeah, like I will be able to manage that!)

Take care

HI Newbeanie,

I am lurking on a few boards and have seen what happened to you this month on PAL board- I am so sorry. Your posts show that you are a fighter and I have to say that you seem to be in much better shape that I was after my latest loss. I hope that you can get back on the bus soon! Some think that you need time to heal but for me there is no healing without a new BFP and hopefully a new baby at the end of it all.

Are you going to get tested now for RMC? I had a private referral to St. Mary's but turned it down as I already have two live births and my 6 m/c:s must be due to my age, mainly, and I do not want to lose three months ttc:ing waiting to be told this by specialists.

I am trying all conventional and supplementary therapies known to man, including reiki, acupuncture, Chinese herbs, progesterone, prednisone, baby aspirin- if you happen to know any other tricks that just might help, please let me know!

I know what you mean by being pregnant by the original due date- I was desperate to be preggo before Dec especially as my little sister and I had almost the same due dates. I am happy for her, but it is her 8th! I am just desperate to get a little sister or brother for Lucas as I don't think it is good for kids to grow up alone. My elder one is already in the uni and out of the house...

I hope to see your balloon soon on one of the boards- this board is a quiet one but there are women in my age who need the reassurance that it can still happen so I think it was important to show my balloon here. My "home board" is the RMC one until the new MD July 2010 is up!

Take care, Hanna XX

Hello

I am in the US health system so I don't know about a referral for RMC would work here. I have to go back to my OBGYN in about 2 weeks for a post-op check up so I'll talk to her then about what I (or she) can do but she already mentioned Progesterone.

I seem to be pretty fertile and don't have a problem with eggy meeting swimmer despite turning 38 this week (eek!). My summer loss was genetic, and then the two this autumn were not sticky beans which could be genetic or could be something else. I think that my OB might try some blood tests too but she already told me they don't often turn up anything conclusive. Again, due to the crazy US health system, she can't really deny me tests if I ask for them; which I think I will at least to put my mind to rest.

I'm not trying anything fancy in addition to BD but as the clock ticks I'm sure I'll up the anti. I'm taking EPO and agnus castus from CD1-14 and prenatal vits the whole time (when I remember - oops). Until May this year I lived in China and got reflexology pretty much weekly at a whopping cost of £2 for an hour and a half! Boy do I miss that.

Anyway, I'm off to get my hair cut and highlighted. I'd been postponing because I wanted to wait until I was 12 weeks but since that is no longer an issue, I'll 'treat' myself. Can't really clothes shop since I'm heavier that I want to be but I'm sure I'll make a couple of 'investments'. Amazing what retail therapy can do.

Again, congratulations and hopefully I'll be on a bus not far behind you. Not TTC this cycle but may start in Dec. Can't wait!
