Hello

After posting about Harrys lack of hospital appointment yesterday after referral being sent to wrong Dr I spoke to a friend who I have not seen in a while. I was telling her about Harry and then I remembered she worked in the appointment department at our local hospital (where Harry is due to be seen). She said she would see what she can do. She just rang to say the earliest she can get us seen is next Wednesday. I was worrying we wouldnt get seen next month let alone next week. Its also the same day as his ultrasound so we can do the both together. I feel so much happier now as I just want to get things started.

I agree totally glad you a got an appointment when i was trying to get my son diagnosed with ASD we were getting no where until i became friends with his speech theory and she knew someone on the assesement team she got him in to be seem and was diagnosed within 6 months which was great for us as he got help quicker but if it wasn't for her i feel we would still be waiting to get help it a shame that this is the way but i feel its who you know over many different areas.
