Hi

Not been on in a while, just never seem to get much time, last week Faith's been off from pre-school as it was half term, so been trying to do things to occupy her and make sure she's happy since she's not been dealing too well with the change in attention since Marcus was born, we still do lots with her, but she's used to being center of attention.  still BF Marcus and is going really well, though couple days recently ive not been feeling too good (bad headaches) and just wanted to curl up and sleep, luckly Carl's been around to help and kept them both occupied and only woken me to feed Marcus :D

This morning though, was in bed after feeding Marucs and he was dribbling so went to wipe it away with my finger and accidently scratched him!! its close to his eye and was bleeding felt so awful, Carl keeps telling me its not that bad, and obviously didn't really bother him as he just kept on smiling and talking but everytime i look at him i feel SO bad, and yesterday he had his first set of injections, he went into the nurses room really happy and smiling, put him on the bed and he started kicking his legs and was looking at everything, then first jab he scrunched up his face looking really sad, then started to cheer up when he was rolled onto his side, and started screaming when he had the second jab, i cuddled him all the way to the pharmacy to get some calpol, then to the car where he went in his car seat, and he was still upset, didnt like the calpol much at all, spat most of it back out, but took pretty much all of his second dose before he went to bed... all in all im feeling rather sorry for him, and guilty that i put him through it, i know i had to get the injections done, and the scratch was an accident but...

Hope everyone else is doing well!

Abby and Marcus xx

Hugs honey, I've found that since I became a mummy I'm always feeling guilty about something... not noticing dirty nappies quick enough, waiting til Em is screaming with hunger as I missed the cue's, getting frustrated when she won't sleep at night, constantly questioning my parenting skills... the list goes on.

Please don't feel bad - you are only human, and you are doing a great job!!!!
